Turks and Caicos on Fly

Watching two bonefish pros work together was quite a sight...

There are plenty of spots on the globe where anglers can pursue bonefish. Some spots are known for big fish and others are known for numbers of fish. Providenciales, Turks and Caicos is one local that offers fly anglers numbers of fish and the possibility of catching a big bonefish on any given day. Capt. Arthur Dean of Silver Deep invited me to come fish with him last April and I can say from my experience that fly fisherman will not go home unhappy. Arthur and his wife, Paola, run Silver Deep, a company that offers visitors activities such as fly fishing trips, diving and more. Arthur and I fished three days and despite cloudy skies and frequent rain showers, it seemed as though we were stalking fish all day. On the final day, I invited Arthur's son A.J. (who is also a guide for Silver Deep) to come with us. Watching two bonefish pros work together was quite a sight.  Here are some pics from the trip:
