Fly anglers traveled to Mexico to fish the waters surrounding Santa Rosa Lagoon. Giant snook patrol the plentiful mangroves in the area, making for both a beautiful and tricky waterscape. The shallow waters and many tangles make for tough casts and tough fights. But with a big snook successfully landed and released, what else is there to do but go after a flats permit?
