Simrad has partnered with BEP Marine to marry the Simrad NSE multifunction displays with an advanced digital switching, monitoring and control system called CZone. CZone can operate any AC or DC circuit aboard your boat and, with a free software upgrade (Simrad NSE 2.0), can put displays and controls for everything from livewell pumps to nav lights on your NSE screen. At present, CZone must be installed by a boatbuilder, costs $2,000 and up, and is designed for vessels 35 feet or longer. However, BEP expects CZone will be sold aftermarket in the future.
