Using new materials that dramatically reduce weight, the engineers at Temple Fork Outfitters created the BVK, a series of lightweight rods that offer plenty of power and strength. The translucent olive blanks are topped with braided carbon-fiber reel seats, REC recoil stripping guides, ultra-lightweight chromium-impregnated stainless snake guides and flor-grade grips that have been specifically contoured for comfort. All rods measure 9 feet and can be broken down into four pieces. Keep an eye out later in the year for shorter models.
