Scott unveiled a new line of excellent saltwater fly rods, the S4s. Available in both two-piece (8- through 12-weight) and four-piece (6- through 12-weight) designs, the rods make up the most rigorously tested line Scott has ever developed, according to designer Jim Bartschi.

The S4s features a fast action for high line speed and quick presentations, and the blanks' natural finish offers a subtle look that won't spook fish. The rods are matched with corrosion-proof components, including nickel-titanium Recoil snake guides, SiC strippers in full titanium frames, and a machined reel seat with a hard-coat anodized finish and self-tracking rings.
