Available this spring, Patagonia's new Tropic Comfort crew looks like a winner for those venturing to hot, sunny places. The 100 percent polyester jersey is incredibly soft and feels like cotton, yet it offers all the benefits of a synthetic shirt. Incredibly snag-resistant, with flat seams, this quick-drying shirt offers an ultraviolet protection factor of 20, along with a comfortable ribbed neckband, a zippered chest utility pocket and thumb holes at the cuffs that protect the back of the hands from the sun. Weighing just 4.8 ounces, the shirt is offered in sizes from extra-small to extra-extra-large and is recyclable through Patagonia's Common Threads Recycling Program.
