Argonaut G615
Argonaut introduces the first waterproof, sunlight-readable marine monitor priced under $1,000...
Oct 26, 2006

Argonaut Computer, a manufacturer of marinized and military computers, introduces the first waterproof, sunlight-readable marine monitor priced under $1,000. The Argonaut Tflex G615 has a 15-inch transflective display. Transflective means that its LCD (liquid crystal display) illuminates pixels from both the front and back, providing superb readability in all light conditions.

The G615 — 1 inch thick and sealed on all sides in a powder-coated aluminum casing — offers "ultra" wide-angle viewing. Argonaut designed the G615 to   accommodate the plethora of black-box units from different manufacturers currently available. Interestingly, Argonaut also created the G615 for surface or pedestal mounting, eliminating the need to cut into consoles. Additional specifications on the G615 were not available at press time.

Look for a 12-inch touch screen from Argonaut in the very near future. Argonaut Computer, Inc., 800-967-4287, www.argonautcomputer.com.
